I was pleased to be in the audience this evening at the Meyerson. The program was very well received - obvious by the applause. So I wanted to add my personal applause as well! Thank you for entertaining and educating Dallas.

We have so much to thank you for! First and foremost, you bring so much joy into the lives of our Seniors with your varied talents and the beautiful music you create. Secondly, for your amazing volunteerism and most of all , for the wonderful gift of your friendship to the Irving Senior Arts Program.

It was an amazing evening of superb musicianship under Randol Bass's very capable directorship....the music was entertaining and flawlessly executed. I know you are proud of being associated with this band. I thought you did a good job orchestrating the event... I hope you did well with the silent auction. The warm-up band was great, too. Thanks again for another opportunity to hear this fine wind ensemble and, of course, the Turtle Creek Corale. Please extend our thanks to your director and each of your members.

There was a lot of talk about the theramin, the chorus and the violinist. Tony and his harmonica were a hit! They were all very complimentary about the entertaining program and musicianship. Our first trombone, a Julliard grad, commented on how tight the band was.

It was a great concert. Adam made that trumpet sound like a flute at times. So smooth and later so WOW!

It was also neat to be able to hear 2 songs that have never been presented before. That pianist's work was fabulous.

From the concert's host, WFAA's Gary Cogill ...

Wow... just wow... I'm still giddy over the evening. Thank you for the opportunity. It would be a privilege to host again sometime... keep me in mind. It was just thrilling for me... You nailed the music.

From members of the audience ...

What an exciting evening - I had a wonderful time listening to the music.

I can't remember enjoying an evening of music more than we did Sunday. John Williams' music is totally fantastic.

Randol Bass, Gary Gogill, the Metropolitan Winds and the Meyerson all in one evening! What a great time!

Once again, the Metropolitan WInds delighted an attentive audience who hung on every note of John Williams' music. How fortunate we were to be among them.

I am a fan of John Williams and his music. I'm sure if he were here he'd tell you how proud you all should be of your performance. If I had not been in attendence I would have thought a complete orchestra was performing.

I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed the Metropolitan Winds at tha Meyerson. Mr. Bass really is wonderful.

It was a treat to hear your all John Williams program with several new pieces and several familiar ones -- I may have to become a 'Star Wars' fan.

Such spirit, such ZOOM! Conductor Randol Bass has a delicious sense of humor and the guest conductor conducted beautifully. And Gary Cogill, whom I see on TV, was his usual elfish self and had all of us smiling.

This was truly a delightful performance and I deeply enjoyed the entire evening.

Thank you so very much for a magical evening of music. What a privilege to be able to enjoy all of this talent.

It seemed like I was reliving those wonderful movies through listening to your music.

Wow! Your concert was so great. My sister, hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed our night at the Meyerson with the Metropolitan Winds. It was neat having Gary Cogill moderate and the wind ensemble sounded terrific.

The concert was FANTASTIC last evening! Very impressive ensemble of volunteers. The conductor was such fun to watch. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
